Died, of lobar pneumonia and acute myocarditis, in Fort Thomas, Campbell County, Ky., November 6, 1929 (age 56 years, 90 days). Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Southgate, Ky.

  John Henry Buschemeyer (1869-1935) — also known as John H. Buschemeyer — of Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky. Born in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky., February 24, 1869. Democrat. Physician; mayor of Louisville, Ky., 1913-17; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Kentucky, 1916 (member, Committee to Notify Presidential Nominee). German ancestry. Died in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky., October 7, 1935 (age 66 years, 225 days). Interment at St. Louis Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.

Episcopalian. Scotch-Irish and German ancestry. Member, Freemasons. Died November 10, 1908 (age 70 years, 313 days). Burial location unknown.

Michel Herrmann Michel Herrmann (1850-1919) — also known as Michel Hermann — of Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky. Born in Wingersheim, Bas-Rhin, France, May 28, 1850. Distiller; wholesale liquor dealer; Consular Agent for France in Louisville, Ky., 1898-1907; Vice-Consul for Belgium in Louisville, Ky., 1917-19. Alsatian ancestry. Died, from pernicious anemia, in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky., June 18, 1919 (age 69 years, 21 days). Interment at St. Louis Cemetery, Louisville, Ky.
  Relatives: Married, April 30, 1884, to Caroline 'Carrie' Balmer; father of Louis Joseph Herrmann.

  Elijah Hise (1802-1867) — of Russellville, Logan County, Ky. Born in Allegheny County, Pa., July 4, 1802. Democrat. Lawyer; member of Kentucky state house of representatives, 1829; candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky, 1836; U.S. Charge d'Affaires to Guatemala, 1848-49; U.S. Representative from Kentucky 3rd District, 1866-67; died in office 1867. German ancestry. Slaveowner. Died by a self-inflicted pistol shot, in Russellville, Logan County, Ky., May 8, 1867 (age 64 years, 308 days). He left a note declaring that he had "lost all hope of … saving the country from the impending disasters and ruin in which despotic and unconstitutional rule has involved her." However, later news reports disclosed that he had been about to be indicted for perjury and tax evasion, based on his statements as a candidate. Interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville, Ky.; cenotaph at Congressional Cemetery, Washington, D.C.

Iron manufacturer; delegate to Republican National Convention from Ohio, 1904. German ancestry. Died in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio, September 27, 1919 (age 68 years, 286 days). Entombed at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, Ohio.
  Relatives: Son of John Henry Marting and Mary Elizabeth (Knaper) Marting; married, March 7, 1872, to Margaret C. Duis; first cousin once removed of Ernest Louis Marting.

  Almer Michael Yealey (1873-1962) — also known as A. M. Yealey — of Florence, Boone County, Ky. Born in Union County, Ohio, January 29, 1873. Democrat. School teacher and principal; mayor of Florence, Ky., 1908, 1921-23, 1941-43, 1954. German ancestry. Died in Boone County, Ky., November 25, 1962 (age 89 years, 300 days). Interment at Florence Cemetery, Florence, Ky.
  Relatives: Son of Michael Yealey and Catherine (Strebel) Yealey; married, March 1, 1898, to Lucy Ann Rouse.
  The A. M. Yealey Elementary School (built 1962), in Florence, Kentucky, is named for him.

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 320,919 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of this site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, members of major federal commissions; and political appointee (pre-1969) postmasters of qualifying communities; (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions; (6) Americans who served as "honorary" consuls for other nations before 1950. Note: municipalities or communities "qualify", for Political Graveyard purposes, if they have at least half a million person-years of history, inclusive of predecessor, successor, and merged entities.
