	DeLancey Nicoll (1854-1931) — of New York, New York County, N.Y. Born in Shelter Island, Suffolk County, N.Y., June 24, 1854. Democrat. Lawyer; attorney for American Tobacco Company; delegate to Democratic National Convention from New York, 1892, 1896; delegate to New York state constitutional convention 7th District, 1894; delegate to New York state constitutional convention 14th District, 1915. Died in Manhattan, New York County, N.Y., March 31, 1931 (age 76 years, 280 days). Lawyer; alternate delegate to Republican National Convention from New York, 1912; delegate to New York state constitutional convention 17th District, 1915; member of New York state senate 17th District, 1918, 1925-26; defeated, 1926. Episcopalian. Died in Water Mill, Suffolk County, Long Island, N.Y., September 20, 1938 (age about 58 years). 	Ione Nicoll (d. 1940) — also known as Ione Page — of Manhattan, New York County, N.Y. Republican. Delegate to Republican National Convention from New York, 1924; delegate to New York convention to ratify 21st amendment, 1933. Female. Episcopalian. One of the leaders of the Women's Organization for National Prohibition Reform; bolted the Republican Party over the prohibition issue in 1932. Jumped or fell sixteen stories to her death, from her room at New York Hospital, Manhattan, New York County, N.Y., August 9, 1940. Interment at Southampton Cemetery, Southampton, Long Island, N.Y.   Relatives: Daughter of Howard Page and Mildred A. 	Allan Aloysius Ryan, Jr. (b. 1903) — also known as Allan A. Ryan, Jr. — of Poughkeepsie, Dutchess County, N.Y.; Rhinebeck, Dutchess County, N.Y. Born in New York, New York County, N.Y., July 4, 1903. Republican. Stockbroker; owner of mining interests; member of New York state senate 28th District, 1939-42; served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Catholic. 	Clendenin James Ryan (1905-1957) — also known as Clendenin Ryan — of Manhattan, New York County, N.Y.; Allamuchy, Warren County, N.J. Born in Suffern, Rockland County, N.Y., July 16, 1905. Republican. Aide to Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia, 1938-39; New York City Commissioner of Commerce, 1939; served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; delegate to Republican National Convention from New Jersey, 1948; Independent Voters candidate for Governor of New Jersey, 1953. Catholic. Died by self-inflicted gunshot, in the same East 70th Street townhouse where his father killed himself in 1939, Manhattan, New York County, N.Y., September 12, 1957 (age 52 years, 58 days).
