Born in Natural Bridge, Jefferson County, N.Y., September 17, 1879. Democrat. Dentist; chair of Madison County Democratic Party, 1932; postmaster at Oneida, N.Y., 1933-49 (acting, 1933-34). When notified of his wife's death, he collapsed and died, in Clermont, Lake County, Fla., September 22, 1957 (age 78 years, 5 days).
