Stephen Russell Mallory (c.1813-1873) — also known as Stephen R. Mallory — of Key West, Monroe County, Fla.; Pensacola, Escambia County, Fla. Born in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, of American parents, about 1813. Democrat. County judge in Florida, 1837-45; U.S. Senator from Florida, 1851-61; Confederate Secretary of the Navy, 1861-65. Catholic. Arrested as a Confederate by Union troops in 1865 and imprisoned until March 1866. Slaveowner. Died in Pensacola, Escambia County, Fla., November 9, 1873 (age about 60 years). Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.

William Francis White (born c.1821) — also known as William F. White — of Watsonville, Santa Cruz County, Calif. Born in Limerick, Ireland, about 1821. Farmer; delegate to California state constitutional convention, 1878-79; Workingmen candidate for Governor of California, 1879. Catholic. Interment at Valley Catholic Cemetery, Watsonville, Calif.

Fernando J. Moreno (1822-1905) — of Key West, Monroe County, Fla. Born in Pensacola, Escambia County, Fla., 1822. Democrat. Insurance agent; mayor of Key West, Fla., 1852-53. Died in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, La., 1905 (age about 83 years). Burial location unknown.

Stephen Russell Mallory Jr. (1848-1907) — also known as Stephen R. Mallory, Jr. — of Pensacola, Escambia County, Fla. Born in Columbia, Richland County, S.C., November 2, 1848. Democrat. Served in the Confederate Navy during the Civil War; lawyer; member of Florida state house of representatives, 1876; member of Florida state senate, 1880-84; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Florida, 1888; U.S. Representative from Florida 1st District, 1891-95; U.S. Senator from Florida, 1897-1907; died in office 1907. Catholic. Died in Pensacola, Escambia County, Fla., December 23, 1907 (age 59 years, 51 days). Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery, Pensacola, Fla.

Member of California state senate, 1887-91; Lieutenant Governor of California, 1887-91; delegate to Democratic National Convention from California, 1888 (Temporary Chair; speaker), 1892, 1900; U.S. Senator from California, 1893-99. Catholic. Died in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif., February 21, 1901 (age 48 years, 33 days). Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles, Calif.
