Born in Montclair, Essex County, N.J., July 13, 1899. Republican. Stockbroker; candidate for U.S. Representative from New York 22nd District, 1940; general manager, Kankakee Works of the A.O. Smith Corporation, manufacturers of water heaters. Episcopalian. Member, Psi Upsilon; Rotary. Died in September, 1985 (age 86 years, 0 days). Burial location unknown.

George Angus Garrett (1888-1971) — also known as George A. Garrett — of Washington, D.C. Born in La Crosse, La Crosse County, Wis., August 5, 1888. Democrat. Served in the U.S. Army during World War I; stockbroker; delegate to Democratic National Convention from District of Columbia, 1932; U.S. Minister to Ireland, 1947-50; U.S. Ambassador to Ireland, 1950-51. Died September 29, 1971 (age 83 years, 55 days). Entombed at Washington National Cathedral, Washington, D.C.

Ned Romeyn Healy (1905-1977) — also known as Ned R. Healy — of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif. Born in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wis., August 9, 1905. Democrat. Stock and bond salesman; office manager; U.S. Representative from California 13th District, 1945-47; defeated, 1946, 1948; automobile parts business. Died in Long Beach, Los Angeles County, Calif., September 10, 1977 (age 72 years, 32 days). Cremated; ashes scattered in North Pacific Ocean.

Harold F. Huibregtse (1907-2005) — of Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan County, Wis. Born in Lima town, Sheboygan County, Wis., August 20, 1907. Republican. Automobile dealer; farm owner; investment broker; bank director; member of Wisconsin state assembly from Sheboygan County 2nd District, 1955-58; member of Wisconsin state senate 20th District, 1959-60; alternate delegate to Republican National Convention from Wisconsin, 1964. Christian Reformed. Member, Kiwanis. Died, in Pine Haven Christian Home, Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan County, Wis., February 21, 2005 (age 97 years, 185 days). Interment at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery, Sheboygan Falls, Wis.

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 320,919 politicians, living and dead.

	The coverage of this site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, members of major federal commissions; and political appointee (pre-1969) postmasters of qualifying communities; (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions; (6) Americans who served as "honorary" consuls for other nations before 1950.
