	William Trigg Pigott (1861-1944) — of Virginia City, Madison County, Mont.; Great Falls, Cascade County, Mont.; Helena, Lewis and Clark County, Mont. Born in Boonville, Cooper County, Mo., November 3, 1861. Lawyer; justice of Montana state supreme court, 1897-. Member, American Bar Association. Died in Helena, Lewis and Clark County, Mont., March 18, 1944 (age 82 years, 136 days). Interment at Forestvale Cemetery, Helena, Mont.   Relatives: Son of John Thomas Pigott (1823-1904) and Josephine Hanley (Trigg) Pigott (1836-1907); married to Virginia M. Packing business; banker; major in the U.S. Army during World War I; chairman, Denver and Intermountain Railway; president, Brown Palace Hotel; director, Great Western Sugar Co.; director, Denver Dry Goods Co.; vice-president of several electric utilities; delegate to Republican National Convention from Colorado, 1936 (member, Committee on Rules and Order of Business), 1944. Episcopalian. German ancestry. Died in Denver, Colo., June 9, 1957 (age 82 years, 150 days). Delegate to Colorado convention to ratify 21st amendment, 1933. Female. Died from a self-inflicted gunshot, in Denver, Colo., September 17, 1941 (age 37 years, 323 days).
