Died, of pneumonia, in St. Barnabas Hospital, Newark, Essex County, N.J., January 26, 1933 (age 80 years, 216 days). Interment at Princeton Cemetery, Princeton, N.J.

Samuel René Gummeré (1853-1920) — of New Jersey. Born in Trenton, Mercer County, N.J., February 19, 1853. Republican. Lawyer; U.S. Consul General in Tangier, 1898-1905; U.S. Minister to Morocco, 1905-09. Presbyterian. Died in 1920 (age about 67 years). Burial location unknown.

Thomas Lynch Raymond, Jr. (1875-1928) — also known as Thomas L. Raymond — of Newark, Essex County, N.J. Born in East Orange, Essex County, N.J., April 26, 1875. Republican. Lawyer; district judge in New Jersey 1st District, 1904; mayor of Newark, N.J., 1915-17, 1925-28; delegate to Republican National Convention from New Jersey, 1916, 1928; candidate in primary for Governor of New Jersey, 1919. Episcopalian. Died in Newark, Essex County, N.J., October 4, 1928 (age 53 years, 161 days). Burial location unknown.
