Disciples of Christ. Member, American Legion; Freemasons; Shriners; Elks; Optimist Club. Died in Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Tex., September 24, 1959 (age 60 years, 179 days). Note: municipalities or communities "qualify", for Political Graveyard purposes, if they have at least half a million person-years of history, inclusive of predecessor, successor, and merged entities.
