John Hicklin Hall (1854-1937) — also known as John H. Hall — of Portland, Multnomah County, Ore. Born in Multnomah County, Ore., July 17, 1854. Member of Oregon state house of representatives, 1891-92; U.S. Attorney for Oregon, 1897-1904. Removed from office as district attorney; tried and convicted in 1905 on land fraud charges; later pardoned by President Taft. Died in Portland, Multnomah County, Ore., July 27, 1937 (age 83 years, 10 days). Interment at River View Cemetery, Portland, Ore.

Louis Blasdel Ewbank (1864-1953) — of Indianapolis, Marion County, Ind. Born in Dearborn County, Ind., September 5, 1864. Lawyer; justice of Indiana state supreme court, 1920-26. Member, Freemasons. Died in Guilford, Dearborn County, Ind., March 7, 1953 (age 88 years, 183 days). Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Ind.

John Hubert Hall (1899-1970) — also known as John H. Hall — of Oregon. Born February 7, 1899. Republican. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War I; member of Oregon state house of representatives; elected 1932, 1938, 1942, 1944, 1946; Governor of Oregon, 1947-49; district judge in Oregon; elected 1965. Died November 14, 1970 (age 71 years, 280 days). Burial location unknown.

		Relatives: Son of John Hicklin Hall; second cousin once removed of Louis Blasdel Ewbank.

Note: municipalities or communities "qualify", for Political Graveyard purposes, if they have at least half a million person-years of history, inclusive of predecessor, successor, and merged entities.
