Elon Farnsworth (1799-1877) — of Michigan. Born in Woodstock, Windsor County, Vt., February 2, 1799. Democrat. Member Michigan territorial council 1st District, 1834-35; Chancellor of Michigan, 1835-43, 1846-47; candidate for Governor of Michigan, 1839; Michigan state attorney general, 1843-45; member of University of Michigan board of regents, 1846-57. An organizer of the Michigan Central Railroad. Died, from kidney disease, in Detroit, Wayne County, Mich., March 24, 1877 (age 78 years, 50 days). Interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Detroit, Mich.

		Relatives: Son of Stephen Farnsworth (1764-1829) and Deborah (Bennett) Farnsworth (1765-1845); married, May 7, 1830, to Hannah Blake; third cousin once removed of Frederick Farnsworth; third cousin thrice removed of Watson Wales Farnsworth (1855-1939).

Frederick Farnsworth (1842-1914) — of New London, New London County, Conn. Born in Connecticut, December 5, 1842. Republican. Physician; delegate to Republican National Convention from Connecticut, 1896 (alternate), 1900. Died in New London, New London County, Conn., February 23, 1914 (age 71 years, 80 days). Burial location unknown.

		Relatives: Son of Eunice Williams (Billings) Farnsworth (1804-1877) and Ralph Farnsworth (born 1795); third cousin once removed of Elon Farnsworth (1799-1877).

Watson Wales Farnsworth (1855-1939) — also known as W. W. Farnsworth — of Waterville, Lucas County, Ohio. Born in Waterville, Lucas County, Ohio, November 21, 1855. Republican. Fruit farmer; delegate to Ohio state constitutional convention, 1912; member of Ohio state senate, 1923-32; candidate in primary for Lieutenant Governor of Ohio, 1926; delegate to Republican National Convention from Ohio, 1928. Member, Farm Bureau; Sons of the American Revolution; Freemasons. Died in Waterville, Lucas County, Ohio, January 13, 1939 (age 83 years, 53 days). Interment at Wakeman Cemetery, Waterville, Ohio.

		Relatives: Son of John Pray Farnsworth (1829-1909) and Annis Belinda (Wales) Farnsworth (1832-1913); married, June 16, 1881, to Anna Brakeley Norton (1860-1908); married, October 4, 1911, to Adelaide A. Counter (1882-1973); third cousin thrice removed of Elon Farnsworth (1799-1877).
