Member, Grand Army of the Republic; Loyal Legion; Odd Fellows; Elks. Died in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, June 12, 1911 (age 69 years, 138 days). Interment at Ridge Cemetery.

      Relatives: Son of Hamilton N. Dorsey and Sarah (Polton) Dorsey; married 1869 to Emma E. Benton; married 1905 to Laura Hodge (1863-1920).
