Malbin, on federal charges of aiding and abbetting an embezzlement scheme, involving officials of the International Production, Service and Sales Employees Union; in 1975, both men were acquitted. Catholic. Italian ancestry. Member, Knights of Columbus. Died, from kidney disease, in United Hospital, Port Chester, Westchester County, N.Y., May 29, 1990 (age 77 years, 19 days).
