Arthur Label Bresler (1862-1908) — also known as Arthur L. Bresler — of Detroit, Wayne County, Mich. Born in New York, New York County, N.Y., July 8, 1862. Honorary Consul for Hawaiian Islands in Detroit, Mich., 1895-1900; Consul-General for Nicaragua in Detroit, Mich., 1901-03; manager of DeForest wireless telegraph system. German ancestry. Died, from stomach cancer, at the Hotel St. Lorenz, East 72nd Street, Manhattan, New York County, N.Y., November 6, 1908 (age 46 years, 121 days). Initial reports that he had been poisoned were dispelled by an autopsy. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Detroit, Mich.

Joseph M. Bresler (1868-1900) — of Detroit, Wayne County, Mich. Born in New York, New York County, N.Y., March 26, 1868. Consul for Nicaragua in Detroit, Mich., 1895-96, 1899-1900; Consul for Central America in Detroit, Mich., 1897-98; Consul for Honduras in Detroit, Mich., 1899. German ancestry. Member, Freemasons; Shriners. Died, from pleuro-pneumonia, in Detroit, Wayne County, Mich., March 6, 1900 (age 31 years, 345 days). Burial location unknown.

Eugene Alexander Bresler (1871-1954) — also known as Eugene A. Bresler — of Detroit, Wayne County, Mich. Born in Leipzig, Germany, September 21, 1871. Vice-Consul for Venezuela in Detroit, Mich., 1893-99; Honorary Consul for Venezuela in Detroit, Mich., 1899-1906. German ancestry. Died in Detroit, Wayne County, Mich., 1954 (age about 82 years). Burial location unknown.
