Rancher; banker; member of Colorado state house of representatives, 1890; delegate to Republican National Convention from Colorado, 1908 (alternate), 1912. Shot and killed, along with his son, John F. Parrish, by the Fleagle Gang, who were robbing the First National Bank, in Lamar, Prowers County, Colo., May 23, 1928 (age 77 years, 51 days). The gang members were captured in 1929, tried, convicted, sentenced to death and excuted. 	John Festus Parrish (1887-1928) — also known as John F. Parrish; Jaddo Parrish — of Lamar, Prowers County, Colo. Born in Colorado, July 8, 1887. Republican. Alternate delegate to Republican National Convention from Colorado, 1928. Shot and killed, along with his father Amos N. Parrish, by the Fleagle Gang, who were robbing the First National Bank, in Lamar, Prowers County, Colo., May 23, 1928 (age 40 years, 320 days). The gang members were captured in 1929, tried, convicted, sentenced to death and excuted. 	Harry Wayne Hamilton, Sr. (1897-1966) — also known as Harry W. Hamilton, Sr. — of Fairmont, Marion County, W.Va. Born in Fairmont, Marion County, W.Va., November 4, 1897. Democrat. Merchant; member of West Virginia state house of delegates from Marion County, 1951-54. Episcopalian. Member, Elks; Moose; American Legion. Died in Clarksburg, Harrison County, W.Va., June 24, 1966 (age 68 years, 232 days). Burial location unknown.   Relatives: Son of Fielding Lockard Hamilton (1853-1940) and Rebecca Louise (Crowl) Hamilton; married, August 8, 1921, to Cora Elizabeth Kelly (died 1938); married, March 23, 1945, to Lucy K.
