  O. Otto Moore (b. 1896) — of Colorado. Born in Floyds Knobs, Floyd County, Ind., June 14, 1896. Served in the U.S. Army during World War I; lawyer; justice of Colorado state supreme court, 1949-69; chief justice of Colorado Supreme Court, 1957-58. Member, Veterans of Foreign Wars; Sigma Alpha Epsilon; Phi Delta Phi; Freemasons. Burial location unknown.
  K. Berry Peterson (b. 1891) — of Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Okla.; Tucson, Pima County, Ariz. Born in Alamo, Montgomery County, Ind., July 24, 1891. Democrat. Lawyer; served in the U.S. Army during World War I; Pima County Attorney, 1922-27; Arizona state attorney general, 1929-33. Presbyterian. Member, American Legion; Disabled American Veterans; Sigma Alpha Epsilon; Phi Alpha Delta; Odd Fellows; Elks. Burial location unknown.

  William Newell Vaile (1876-1927) — also known as William N. Vaile — of Denver, Colo. Born in Kokomo, Howard County, Ind., June 22, 1876. Republican. Served in the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War; lawyer; U.S. Representative from Colorado 1st District, 1919-27; defeated, 1916; died in office 1927. Congregationalist. Member, Sigma Alpha Epsilon; Freemasons; Knights Templar; Shriners; United Spanish War Veterans. Died, from heart disease, while riding in an automobile in or near Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, July 2, 1927 (age 51 years, 10 days). Interment at Fairmount Cemetery, Denver, Colo.

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 338,260 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of this site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, members of major federal commissions; and political appointee (pre-1969) postmasters of qualifying communities; (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions; (6) Americans who served as "honorary" consuls for other nations before 1950. Note: municipalities or communities "qualify", for Political Graveyard purposes, if they have at least half a million person-years of history, inclusive of predecessor, successor, and merged entities.
