Postmaster at Belmont, N.C., 1921-34. Died, from congestive heart failure, in Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia, Gaston County, N.C., September 7, 1975 (age 78 years, 200 days). Interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont, N.C.
