Died in 1953 (age about 87 years). Interment at Monte Vista Park Cemetery, Bluefield, W.Va.

  John C. Shott (born c.1926) — of Bluefield, Mercer County, W.Va. Born about 1926. Republican. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; member of West Virginia Republican State Executive Committee, 1957-67; West Virginia Republican state chair, 1965-68. Presbyterian. Still living as of 1968.
  Relatives: Son of James Howard Shott (1904?-?); grandson of Hugh Ike Shott.
