Son of Walter Jodok Kohler, Sr.. Republican. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; delegate to Republican National Convention from Wisconsin, 1948, 1956, 1960; Governor of Wisconsin, 1951-57; candidate for U.S. Senator from Wisconsin, 1957. Member, Council on Foreign Relations. Died March 21, 1976. Interment somewhere.
