Died August 24, 2004 (age 76 years, 352 days). Interment at Fairview Cemetery.

      Ben Hugh Guill (1909-1994) — also known as Ben Guill — of Pampa, Gray County, Tex. Born in Smyrna, Rutherford County, Tenn., September 8, 1909. Republican. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; U.S. Representative from Texas 18th District, 1950-51; defeated, 1950; delegate to Republican National Convention from Texas, 1952 (member, Committee on Permanent Organization), 1956 (alternate). Died in Pampa, Gray County, Tex., January 15, 1994 (age 84 years, 129 days). Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
