      Francis Celeste LeBlond (1821-1902) — of Ohio. Born in Bellville, Richland County, Ohio, February 14, 1821. Democrat. Member of Ohio state house of representatives, 1851; U.S. Representative from Ohio 5th District, 1863-67. Died November 9, 1902 (age 81 years, 268 days). Interment at North Grove Cemetery.
      Relatives: Grandfather of Frank Le Blond Kloeb.

      Richard Raudabaugh (1866-1934) — of Lansing, Ingham County, Mich. Born in Celina, Mercer County, Ohio, February 19, 1866. Democrat. Lawyer; member of Michigan state house of representatives from Ingham County 1st District, 1911-12; defeated, 1912. German ancestry. Died in Lansing, Ingham County, Mich., October 25, 1934 (age 68 years, 248 days). Interment at North Grove Cemetery.
      Relatives: Son of George Washington Raudabaugh and Catherine (Roberts) Raudabaugh; married, October 15, 1891, to Susan E. 'Sue' Fanger.

      Richard Butler (1743-1791) — of Pennsylvania. Born in Ireland, April 1, 1743. Colonel in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War; state court judge in Pennsylvania, 1788; member of Pennsylvania state senate, 1790. Killed on an expedition against Indian tribes, November 4, 1791 (age 48 years, 217 days). Original interment in unknown location; reinterment at Soldiers Monument.
      Relatives: Son of Thomas Butler and Eleanor (Parker) Butler; married to Maria Smith.
      Butler counties in Ky., Ohio and Pa. are named for him.

    The Political Graveyard

    The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 320,919 politicians, living and dead.
     
      The coverage of this site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, members of major federal commissions; and political appointee (pre-1969) postmasters of qualifying communities; (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions; (6) Americans who served as "honorary" consuls for other nations before 1950. Note: municipalities or communities "qualify", for Political Graveyard purposes, if they have at least half a million person-years of history, inclusive of predecessor, successor, and merged entities.  
      The listings are incomplete; development of the database is a continually ongoing project.
