      Israel Victor Welch (1822-1869) — of Mississippi. Born in Old St. Stephens, Washington County, Ala., January 20, 1822. Member of Mississippi state legislature, 1858; delegate to Mississippi secession convention, 1861; served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War; Representative from Mississippi in the Confederate Congress, 1862-65. Died May 18, 1869 (age 47 years, 118 days). Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
      Clarke Lewis (1840-1896) — of Mississippi. Born in Huntsville, Madison County, Ala., November 8, 1840. Democrat. Served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War; member of Mississippi state house of representatives, 1878; U.S. Representative from Mississippi 4th District, 1889-93. Died March 13, 1896 (age 55 years, 126 days). Interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
