Pitt; offered prayer, Democratic National Convention, 1924. Episcopalian. Died in Richmond, Va., December, 1964 (age 86 years, 0 days). Interment at Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Va.
  Relatives: Son of Ovid Americus Kinsolving (1822-1894) and Roberta Elizabeth (Cary) Kinsolving (1826-1919); married, December 27, 1906, to Annie Laurie Pitt (1888-1932); granduncle of Charles McIlvaine Kinsolving, Jr.; second cousin twice removed of Neal Arlon Kinsolving (1930-2004).

Senior vice president, American Newspaper Publishers Association; candidate for New York state assembly, 1954 (New York County 9th District), 1998 (73rd District); campaign manager, Paul O'Dwyer for U.S. Senate, 1970, and Herman Badillo for New York City mayor, 1973. Member, Phi Beta Kappa. Still living as of 1998.
  Relatives: Son of Charles McIlvaine Kinsolving (1893-1984) and Florence Natalie (Hogg) Kinsolving (1899-1982); married, April 26, 1993, to Jolie (Brockman) Hammer (c.1933-1995); married, August 22, 1998, to Jacqueline (Wolf) Vogelstein (1936-2008); grandnephew of Wythe Leigh Kinsolving; fourth cousin of Neal Arlon Kinsolving (1930-2004).

Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict; lawyer; candidate for West Virginia state house of delegates from Kanawha County, 1964; member of West Virginia state senate 17th District, 1967-70; candidate for U.S. Representative from West Virginia 3rd District, 1968, 1970. Died February 15, 2004 (age 74 years, 31 days). Burial location unknown.
