	George Harriss Bellamy (1856-1924) — also known as George H. Bellamy — of El Paso, Brunswick County, N.C. Born in Wilmington, New Hanover County, N.C., April 24, 1856. Democrat. Member of North Carolina state house of representatives from Brunswick County, 1893, 1913-14; member of North Carolina state senate, 1903-04, 1907-08, 1911-12. Injured in a fall onto pavement, and died a few days later, from an intestinal hemorrhage, in James Walker Memorial Hospital, Wilmington, New Hanover County, N.C., March 14, 1924 (age 67 years, 325 days). Died, from arteriosclerotic heart disease, in Wilmington, New Hanover County, N.C., March 20, 1968 (age 89 years, 107 days).
