Horatio Jones Sprague (1823-1901) — also known as Horatio J. Sprague — of Gibraltar, Gibraltar. Born in Gibraltar, Gibraltar, August 12, 1823. U.S. Consul in Gibraltar, 1848-1901; U.S. Consular Agent in Algeciras, 1854-80. Died July 18, 1901 (age 77 years, 340 days). Burial location unknown.

		Relatives: Son of Horatio Sprague (1784-1848) and Victoria Marguerite Ecolastique (Fleshelle) Sprague (1800-1868); married 1854 to Antonia Thorn Francia (died 1877); father of John Lewis Sprague.

John Lewis Sprague (1855-1886) — of Gibraltar, Gibraltar. Born August 27, 1855. U.S. Vice Consul in Gibraltar, 1880-86. Died May 31, 1886 (age 30 years, 277 days). Burial location unknown.
