Died in Huntingdon County, Pa., February 23, 1892 (age 56 years, 274 days). Interment at Mt. Union Cemetery, Mt. Union, Pa.

		Relatives: Son of Oliver Leonard Etnier (1812-1888) and Catherine (Long) Etnier (1813-1880); brother of Abraham Long Etnier; married, February 4, 1862, to Hannah Jane 'Jennie' Morrison (1834-1878); father of Carey Elwood Etnier (1871-1948); nephew of Julia Etnier (1831-1913; who married Benjamin Rush Foust).

Delegate to Republican National Convention from Pennsylvania, 1924, 1928, 1932. Died in York County, Pa., February 3, 1948 (age 76 years, 348 days). Interment at Mt. Union Cemetery, Mt. Union, Pa.

		Relatives: Son of Hannah Jane 'Jennie' (Morrison) Etnier (1834-1878) and David Etnier, Jr.; married 1900 to Susan Ellen Smith (1876-1956); nephew of Abraham Long Etnier (1836-1908); grandnephew of Julia Etnier (1831-1913; who married Benjamin Rush Foust).
