	John Boyd Thacher II (1882-1957) — of Albany, Albany County, N.Y. Born in Leadville, Lake County, Colo., October 26, 1882. Democrat. Lawyer; banker; mayor of Albany, N.Y., 1926-40; delegate to Democratic National Convention from New York, 1928, 1932, 1936, 1940; delegate to New York convention to ratify 21st amendment, 1933; candidate for delegate to New York state constitutional convention at-large, 1937; judge of Albany County Children's Court, 1940-47. Died in Albany, Albany County, N.Y., April 25, 1957 (age 74 years, 181 days). Interment at Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, N.Y.   Relatives: Son of George H.
