Died in Jefferson County, W.Va., October 24, 1914 (age 85 years, 161 days). Interment at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, W.Va.
  Relatives: Son of Angus William McDonald (1799-1864) and Leacy Anne (Naylor) McDonald (died 1843); married, February 17, 1857, to Elizabeth Morton Sherrard (1833-1892); married, June 5, 1894, to Mary Elizabeth Riddle (1851-1923); father of Leacy McDonald (1858-1925; who married Frank Beckwith); grandfather of Francis Jennings Beckwith, Jr. (1892-1966).

Member of West Virginia state house of delegates from Jefferson County, 1881-82, 1887-88; member of West Virginia state senate 15th District, 1915-18. Episcopalian. Member, Freemasons; Royal Arch Masons; Knights Templar. Died July 25, 1937 (age 88 years, 364 days). Interment at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, W.Va.
  Relatives: Son of George Hite Jennings Beckwith and Anne Lloyd (Scollay) Beckwith; married 1886 to Leacy McDonald (1858-1925; daughter of Angus William McDonald (1829-1914)); father of Francis Jennings Beckwith, Jr..

Served in the U.S. Army during World War I; lawyer; member of West Virginia state house of delegates from Jefferson County, 1921-22. Episcopalian. Member, Freemasons; Phi Kappa Sigma; Delta Theta Phi; American Legion. Died in Jefferson County, W.Va., March 5, 1966 (age 73 years, 290 days). Interment at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, W.Va.
  Relatives: Son of Frank Beckwith (1848-1937) and Leacy (McDonald) Beckwith (1858-1925); married, August 31, 1935, to Margaret Shannon Denny (1899-1990); grandson of Angus William McDonald.
