Presbyterian. Member, Phi Beta Kappa; Delta Kappa Epsilon. Died, from uremic poisoning (kidney failure), in Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., December 8, 1938 (age 77 years, 96 days). Interment at St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg, Pa.
