Methodist. Member, Freemasons. Died March 19, 1952 (age 83 years, 4 days). Interment at Harmony Grove Cemetery, Portsmouth, N.H.

  Louis Sherburne Cox (b. 1874) — of Lawrence, Essex County, Mass. Born in Manchester, Hillsborough County, N.H., November 22, 1874. Son of Charles E. Cox and Evelyn M. (Randall) Cox. Republican. Lawyer; member of Massachusetts state senate, 1906; postmaster; superior court judge in Massachusetts, 1918-37; justice of Massachusetts state supreme court, 1937-40. Congregationalist. Member, American Bar Association; Freemasons; Odd Fellows; Elks; Grange; Phi Beta Kappa; Phi Delta Phi. Burial location unknown.

  Byron M. Cutcheon (1836-1908) — of Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, Mich.; Manistee, Manistee County, Mich.; Grand Rapids, Kent County, Mich. Born in Pembroke, Merrimack County, N.H., May 11, 1836. Son of James M. Cutcheon and Hannah (Tripp) Cutcheon. Republican. Colonel in the Union Army during the Civil War; lawyer; Presidential Elector for Michigan, 1868; Manistee County Prosecuting Attorney, 1873-74; member of University of Michigan board of regents, 1875-81; postmaster; U.S. Representative from Michigan 9th District, 1883-91; defeated, 1890. Member, Grand Army of the Republic; Sons of the American Revolution; Loyal Legion. Received the Medal of Honor in 1891 for action at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend, Ky., May 10, 1863. Died in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw County, Mich., April 12, 1908 (age 71 years, 337 days). Interment at Highland Cemetery, Ypsilanti, Mich.

Born in Nelson, Cheshire County, N.H., December 21, 1820. Son of Joseph Felt (1789-1871) and Lefy (Woods) Felt (1792-1849). Sullivan County Commissioner; member of New Hampshire state house of representatives; postmaster. Died in Beresford, Volusia County, Fla., December 4, 1892 (age 71 years, 349 days). Interment at Beresford Cemetery, DeLand, Fla.

Postmaster; member Minnesota territorial council 1st District, 1852-53; member of Minnesota territorial House of Representatives 1st District, 1857. Died September 13, 1882 (age 64 years, 31 days). Burial location unknown.

Merchant; postmaster; justice of the peace; lawyer; Dakota County Attorney, 1855; mayor of Hastings, Minn., 1859-60; major in the Union Army during the Civil War; member of Minnesota state house of representatives 7th District, 1863. Postmaster; candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts, 1880. Died in Woburn, Middlesex County, Mass., July 23, 1892 (age 76 years, 270 days). Burial location unknown.
  Herbert Edwin Walbridge (b. 1878) — also known as Herbert E. Walbridge — of Enfield, Grafton County, N.H. Born in Massachusetts, September 27, 1878. Son of Evelyn (Webster) Walbridge (born 1857) and Herbert Hiram Walbridge (1856-1932). Republican. Wool percher; postmaster; member of New Hampshire state house of representatives from Enfield; elected 1938. Burial location unknown.

Died in Corning, Steuben County, N.Y., January 26, 1888 (age 63 years, 213 days). Interment at Palmyra Cemetery, Palmyra, N.Y.

The Political Graveyard

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of the site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, and members of major federal commissions; and (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions.
