Burial location unknown.

  Walter Atwood Burleigh (1820-1896) — also known as Walter A. Burleigh — of Yankton, Yankton County, Dakota Territory (now S.Dak.); Miles City, Custer County, Mont. Born in Waterville, Kennebec County, Maine, October 25, 1820. Republican. Physician; Delegate to U.S. Congress from Dakota Territory, 1865-69; defeated, 1868; member of Republican National Committee from Dakota Territory, 1870-72; member Dakota territorial council, 1877-78; President of the Dakota Territorial Council, 1877; delegate to Montana state constitutional convention, 1889; member of Montana state house of representatives, 1890; member of South Dakota state senate 3rd District, 1893-94. Died March 7, 1896 (age 75 years, 134 days). Interment at Yankton Cemetery, Yankton, S.Dak.

  Oscar Monroe Lanstrum (b. 1869) — also known as Oscar M. Lanstrum; O. M. Lanstrum — of Helena, Lewis and Clark County, Mont. Born in Galesburg, Knox County, Ill., November 26, 1869. Republican. Physician; delegate to Republican National Convention from Montana, 1912; candidate for U.S. Senator from Montana, 1918; member of Republican National Committee from Montana, 1924. Burial location unknown.
  William Parberry (d. 1902) — of White Sulphur Springs, Meagher County, Mont. Democrat. Physician; member of Montana state senate 9th District, 1889-92. Died in 1902. Interment at Mayn Cemetery, White Sulphur Springs, Mont.

The Political Graveyard

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of the site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, and members of major federal commissions; and (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions.  
  The listings are incomplete; development of the database is a continually ongoing project.
