      George Lovic Pierce Radcliffe (1877-1974) — also known as George L. Radcliffe — of Baltimore, Md. Born near Cambridge, Dorchester County, Md., August 22, 1877.       Francis Philo Phelps (1799-1886) — also known as Francis P. Phelps — of Dorchester County, Md. Born in Milford, Sussex County, Del., January 31, 1799. Son of Asahel Phelps and Agnes (Houston) Phelps. Physician; member of Maryland state house of delegates from Dorchester County, 1828, 1839, 1842-43, 1861-62, 1867-68; member of Maryland state senate from Dorchester County, 1844-47, 1849, 1874-76; delegate to Maryland state constitutional convention, 1850. Died in Cambridge, Dorchester County, Md., November 18, 1886 (age 87 years, 291 days). Interment at Cambridge Cemetery.

    The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
