  Wallace E. Brown (1853-1930) — of North Adams, Berkshire County, Mass. Born in Adams, Berkshire County, Mass., June 29, 1853. Surgeon; mayor of North Adams, Mass., 1913-15. Died in Fort Collins, Larimer County, Colo., April 4, 1930 (age 76 years, 279 days). Burial location unknown.
  Richard Green Buckingham (b. 1816) — also known as R. G. Buckingham — of Virginia; Denver, Colo. Born in Troy, Rensselaer County, N.Y., September 14, 1816. Physician; served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War; mayor of Denver, Colo., 1876-77. Died in Denver, Colo. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Denver, Colo.

Born in New Canaan, Fairfield County, Conn., October 18, 1836. Son of Watts Comstock and Nancy (Hoyt) Comstock. Democrat. Physician; surgeon; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Colorado, 1940, 1952, 1956, 1960; served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Catholic. Member, Knights of Columbus; Elks; Rotary. Died in October, 1973 (age about 72 years). Burial location unknown.

Son of Rollin Jefferson (1849-1912) and Matta Virgina (Harp) Jefferson (1853-1928). Democrat. Physician; dentist; member of Colorado state house of representatives, 1898-1900; member of Colorado state senate, 1900-08; Presidential Elector for Colorado, 1908; U.S. Minister to Nicaragua, 1913-21; candidate in primary for Governor of Colorado, 1922; delegate to Democratic National Convention from Colorado, 1928. Methodist. Member, Freemasons. Died in Colorado, 1950 (age about 78 years). Interment at Steamboat Springs Cemetery, Steamboat Springs, Colo.

Son of Joseph Romig and Margaret (Ricksecker) Romig. Physician; mayor of Anchorage, Alaska, 1937-38. Moravian ancestry. Romig Junior High School, in Anchorage, is named for him. Died in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colo., 1951 (age about 78 years). Original interment somewhere in Colorado Springs, Colo.; reinterment at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery, Anchorage, Alaska.

Son of Adolph Unfug and Alice (Arnold) Unfug. Republican. Physician; delegate to Republican National Convention from Colorado, 1940, 1952. Presbyterian. Member, Elks. Burial location unknown.

The Political Graveyard

The Political Graveyard is a web site about U.S. political history and cemeteries. Founded in 1996, it is the Internet's most comprehensive free source for American political biography, listing 234,420 politicians, living and dead.
 
  The coverage of the site includes (1) the President, Vice President, members of Congress, elected state and territorial officeholders in all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories; and the chief elected official, typically the mayor, of qualifying municipalities; (2) candidates at election, including primaries, for any of the above; (3) all federal judges and all state appellate judges; (4) certain federal officials, including the federal cabinet, diplomatic chiefs of mission, consuls, U.S. district attorneys, collectors of customs and internal revenue, and members of major federal commissions; and (5) state and national political party officials, including delegates, alternate delegates, and other participants in national party nominating conventions.
