James Monroe Hale (1865-1906) — of Caldwell, Burleson County, Tex. Born in Gay Hill, Washington County, Tex., September 5, 1865. Son of James Calvin Hale and Eliza Rose Hale; married, December 28, 1888, to Sarah Parker Mundine (daughter of F. M. Mundine; niece of T. H. Mundine). Lawyer; member of Texas state senate 19th District, 1903-04. Member, Freemasons. Died in Seattle, King County, Wash., May 23, 1906. Interment at Masonic Cemetery, Caldwell, Tex.
