Brother of Kenneth Frederick Hahn; uncle of James Kenneth Hahn and Janice Kay Hahn. Republican. Real estate business; member of California state assembly, 1947-53; candidate for Presidential Elector for California, 1948. Christian. Died, of respiratory failure from pneumonia, in Torrance, Los Angeles County, Calif., March 29, 2001. Burial location unknown.

Kenneth Frederick Hahn (1920-1997) — also known as Kenneth Hahn; Kenny Hahn — of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif. Born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif., August 19, 1920. Brother of Gordon R. Hahn; father of James Kenneth Hahn and Janice Kay Hahn. Democrat. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; alternate delegate to Democratic National Convention from California, 1952; candidate in primary for U.S. Senator from California, 1970. Church of Christ. The Kenneth Hahn Recreation Area, the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, and the Kenneth Hahn Comprehensive Stroke and Epilepsy Center at King/Drew Hospital, are named for him. Died in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif., 1997. Interment at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, Calif.

James Kenneth Hahn (b. 1950) — also known as James K. Hahn — of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif. Born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif., July 3, 1950. Nephew of Gordon R. Hahn; son of Kenneth Frederick Hahn; brother of Janice Kay Hahn. Democrat. Lawyer; delegate to Democratic National Convention from California, 2000; mayor of Los Angeles, Calif., 2001-05. Protestant. Still living as of 2009.

Janice Kay Hahn (b. 1952) — also known as Janice Hahn — of San Pedro, Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif. Born in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, Calif., March 30, 1952. Niece of Gordon R. Hahn; daughter of Kenneth Frederick Hahn; sister of James Kenneth Hahn. Democrat. School teacher; candidate for U.S. Representative from California 36th District, 1998; delegate to Democratic National Convention from California, 2008. Female. Christian. Still living as of 2008.
