William Edwards Stevenson (1900-1985) — also known as William E. Stevenson — of Stamford, Fairfield County, Conn.; Oberlin, Lorain County, Ohio. Born in Chicago, Cook County, Ill., 1900. Father of Helen Day Stevenson Meyner. Won Olympic gold medal in 1600 meter relay, 1924; Rhodes scholar; president of Oberlin College, 1946-61; U.S. Ambassador to Philippines, 1961-64. Died in 1985. Burial location unknown.
Robert Baumle Meyner (1908-1990) — also known as Robert B. Meyner — of Phillipsburg, Warren County, N.J. Born in Easton, Northampton County, Pa., July 3, 1908. Son of Gustave Herman Meyner and Mary Sophia (Baumle) Meyner; married, January 19, 1957, to Helen Day Stevenson. Democrat. Lawyer; served in the U.S. Navy during World War II; member of New Jersey state senate from Warren County, 1948-51; delegate to Democratic National Convention from New Jersey, 1948 (alternate), 1952 (alternate), 1956, 1964; Governor of New Jersey, 1954-62. Member, American Bar Association; Alpha Chi Rho; Elks; Eagles; Odd Fellows; Moose; Rotary; Grange. Died May 27, 1990. Cremated; ashes interred at Phillipsburg Cemetery, Phillipsburg, N.J.

Helen Day Stevenson Meyner (1928-1997) — also known as Helen S. Meyner; Helen Day Stevenson — of Phillipsburg, Warren County, N.J. Born in New York, New York County, N.Y., March 5, 1928. Daughter of William Edwards Stevenson; married, January 19, 1957, to Robert Baumle Meyner. Democrat. U.S. Representative from New Jersey 13th District, 1975-79; defeated, 1972, 1978; delegate to Democratic National Convention from New Jersey, 1980. Female. Died in 1997. Burial location unknown.
