Daniel Munroe Forney (1784-1847) — of North Carolina. Born in North Carolina, 1784. Son of Peter Forney. U.S. Representative from North Carolina 11th District, 1815-19; member of North Carolina state legislature. Died in 1847. Interment at a private or family graveyard, Lowndes County, Ala.

William Henry Forney (1823-1894) — also known as William H. Forney — of Jacksonville, Calhoun County, Ala. Born in North Carolina, 1823. Grandson of Peter Forney. Democrat. Member of Alabama state legislature; U.S. Representative from Alabama, 1875-93 (at-large 1875-77, 7th District 1877-93). Died in 1894. Interment at City Cemetery, Jacksonville, Ala.
