Member of Kentucky state house of representatives, 1828-29, 1832, 1836-38; U.S. Representative from Kentucky 5th District, 1839-40; died in office 1840. Died near Lancaster, Garrard County, Ky., August 11, 1840. Interment at a private or family graveyard, Hart County, Ky.; cenotaph at Congressional Cemetery, Washington, D.C.

Albert Gallatin Talbott (1808-1887) — of Kentucky. Born near Paris, Bourbon County, Ky., April 4, 1808. Uncle of William Clayton Anderson. Democrat. Delegate to Kentucky state constitutional convention, 1849; member of Kentucky state house of representatives, 1850, 1883; U.S. Representative from Kentucky 4th District, 1855-59; member of Kentucky state senate, 1869-73. Died in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., September 9, 1887. Interment at Bellevue Cemetery, Danville, Ky.

William Clayton Anderson (1826-1861) — also known as William C. Anderson — of Danville, Boyle County, Ky. Born in Lancaster, Garrard County, Ky., December 26, 1826. Son of Simeon H. Anderson; nephew of Albert Gallatin Talbott. Member of Kentucky state house of representatives, 1851-53, 1861; died in office 1861; Presidential Elector for Kentucky, 1856; U.S. Representative from Kentucky 4th District, 1859-61; defeated, 1857. Died in Frankfort, Franklin County, Ky., December 23, 1861. Interment at Bell View Cemetery, Danville, Ky.
